How to find out a 'Pole Star' with naked eyes ?
Dear Student,
a. The position of the Pole star is above the north pole and it is indeed the closest star which is visible through the naked eye.
b. Pole star 's position is fixed in the sky.
c. To locate the Pole star , one need to seek help of saptarishi , which is a constellation of stars.
d. One can draw an imaginary line of from these constellation or pointer stars which indeed points towards the Pole star.
e. Pole star is always in the North direction.
