One day, while returning home, he accidentally strays into a corridor, which takes him to an imaginary third level. Charlie was stressed with his daily life and was looking for an escape from reality. So, he imagines the presence of a third level. His fictitious thoughts make him think that everything was different and old fashioned at this level. The people, their attire, the platform, ambience, newspapers, magazines all seemed old fashioned.
