Human beings exhibit double circulation for 2 mark question

Blood in the human heart does not get mixed up. The human heart is made up of 2 auricles and two ventricles situated superior and inferior respectively. The auricles receive blood from the body while the ventricles pump blood through the body. Now, the the right auricle receives deoxygenated blood from the body while the left auricle receives oxygenated blood from the lungs. The right ventricle receives deoxygenated blood from the right auricle and pumps it to the lungs while the left ventricle receives oxygenated blood from the left auricle and pumps it to the rest of the body. Since the blood comes back to the heart twice in one circulation, once from the lungs and once from the rest of the body, it is said that humans exhibit double circulation.
