Human beings lead a perfectly terrestrial life. All the metabolic processes or life sustaining processes of human beings have evolved or are modified enough to sustain outside water. They have evolved a method to retain maximum amount of water that they consume within the body which is sufficient for all the reactions. They do not need availability of free water at any stage of their life cycle.
