i cant understand what is galvanization????

Galvanization refers to the process of covering a layer of metal with another metal which is more reactive. For e.g. zinc is more reactive than iron. Thus iron is galvanized with zinc. This is done to protect the metal from being corroded. The principle behind it is that a more reactive metal is corroded which is on the surface thereby protecting the metal beneath it from corrosion.
