I didn't get that why in mrs. otis character sketch which u hv been provided on meritnation, it is used that "a very handsome, middle aged woman.......profile." in dis line why u hv used handsome.... pls answer soon......
Though 'handsome' is generally used to describe a man, we can use the term to describe a woman as well. It is not a common usage but is grammatically correct.
