I DONT UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF THE EXPERIMENT OF GERMINATING SEEDS..

DOUBT;: EVEN WHEN GERMINATING SEEDS ARE NOT PRODUCING CARBON DI OXIDE...IT IS PRESENT IN THE CONTAINER..SO THEN KOH WILL ABSORB THAT CO2

AND WILL CREATE LOW PRESSURE IN THE BEAKER.

AND I ALSO WANT TO ASK THAT DO THESE GERMINATING SEEDS INHALE OXYGEN...??

PLZ ANSWER FAST....I HAVE SCIENCE TEST TOMORROW

Yes, they do inhale oxygen and release carbon dioxide. this carbon dioxide is absorbed by the KOH solution. this creates a low pressure in the beaker.

To make sure that these germinating seeds inhale oxygen and not carbon dioxide, we make sure that these germinating seeds dont have green patches on them (chlorophyll)

Hope this helps!!
