i gave a test of economics, class 10 chapter: development...
their i was asked that which is the most important criteria for comparing countries? so i answered: PCI, per capita income which should be correct, but meritnati0on showed it as incorrect.... i even saw it on the cbse official website:mycbseguide.com, it says that PCI is the most important....  so what can i consider as the most important criteria?

You have answered it rightly that Income is considered to be one of the most important attributes for comparing countries .Countries with higher income are more developed than the countries with low income but if we take UNDP criterions into consideration they are:
1) Life expectancy at birth,
2) Gross national income ( GNI ) per capita,
3) Literacy rate.
