i need a line by line explanation of the poem photograph

Dear student,

The poet says that the photograph (cardboard) shows her what and how the day had been like when her mother had gone paddling with two of her cousins, who were holding her hand. Her mother had been nearly twelve years old when the photograph was taken at the beach by their uncle and it has been nearly the same number of years from the day she passed away.
All three girls posed for a picture while the air messed up their hair and they smiled through the strands of their hair. The poet remembers how sweet her mother's face had been before she was born. The sea touched their feet and went back. The sea which is symbolic of eternity touched her mother, a mortal being's feet.

Nearly twenty-thirty years later, when her mother looked at her own snap, she laughed and told the poet to look at the photograph with her cousins. The poet's mother mocks at how they were all dressed for the beach by the elders. The poet says that the photograph and the memory was a thing of past for her mother but for the poet, her mother's laughter is now a thing of past as she is no more.

Her mother has been dead for almost twelve years now and there's nothing that the poet can do about it. The sadness of the situation silences her.

Regards
