I want to know defination

Dear student,

1) It is a type of parasite which contains  chlorophyll which is required for photosynthesis but requires  water and minerals from the host plant to perform photosynthesis.
Eg: Mistletoe etc..


2) Plant that grow on other living plant and absorb food materials from them are called parasites.
They can be complete parasites such as cuscata and can be partial parasites such as mistletoe.

3) Dionaea is also known as venus fly trap plant.
The venus fly trap belongs to the class of Eudicots. The leaves have been modified to capture the prey which is an insect. The venation however is not prominent.

4)Mistle toe is a partial parasite.
It contains chlorophyll which is required for photosynthesis.
It  obtains water and minerals from the host plant which is required for photosynthesis.


5) Mycorrhizae is a symbiotic association between the roots of certain plants and fungus. 
Example : Psilotum   and bryophytes (mosses and liverworts).  

 
6) Pseudomonas is a genus of gram negative bacteria aerobic bacteria. It consists of almost 190 species like Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pseudomonas fluorescens etc. These are found in wide range of environments like soil, water etc.
