I was looking at the chapter of inclined plane or wedge in the topic test (no.5) it said that a winding staircase is an example of a ramp .How is a winding staircase an example of a ramp?Since it is winding I was thinking it could be an example of a screw.

While the staircase is winding in shape, the actual mode of lift not the screw, but various ramps. Hence it is not an example of a screw.
