what does this line imply of the relationship between lord ullin and his daughter?

This displays that the daughter is very frightened by the father and the father is angry with the daughter. There is not a good relationship between them. The father loves the daughter but loves his status more than his daughter.

Here in this poem the daughter of lord ullin asks the shore aside boatman for making haste as she has ran away from her father with her lover an the father was on his way to find them and kill the lover...
At the same time there was tempest in the sea but the daughter was least bothered and was ready to face it.
