3 Sec θ - 5 = 0
3 Sec θ = 5 
Sec θ = 5 / 3
Sec θ =           Hypo                         5
            -------------------------   =    -----------
               Adjacent side                  3

Let B = θ
We get:-
AB = Hypo = 5.
CB = Adjacent Side = 3.
In ACB,
AB² = AC² + BC² -------- ( Pythagoras thm )
Let AC = x
5² = x² + 32 
25 = x² + 9
x² = 16
x = 4.
AC = 4

Now, Cot θ =     Adjacent Side                    CB                         3
                       ------------------------     =        ---------        =        -------
                          Opposite Side                    AC                        4
