Here, chord AB subtends right angle at the centre O.

Now, using Pythagoreas theorem in right ΔAOB,

$A O^{2} + B O^{2} = A B^{2} \Rightarrow A B^{2} = 5^{2} + 5^{2} = 50 ∴ A B = 5 \sqrt{2} c m$

Thus, length of chord = $5 \sqrt{2} c m$
