IF  PVC  IS  A  BAD  CONDUCTOR  OF  ELECTRICITY  AND  HEAT, HOW IS  IT  KNOWN  AS  A  THERMOPLASTIC  ,WHICH  GETS  DEFORMED  ON  THE  ACTION  OF  HEAT?

PVC is a bad conductor of heat that is why it gets deformed on heating.

Substances which conduct heat they do not undergo deformation on heating eg... Iron, copper, aluminum and all the other metals...

if you take the example of an iron we heat and it is aconductor of heat and electricity  but we don't heat plastic we burn plastic .

there is adiffernce betwween burning and heating , for example we heat food  but don't burn food
