If resistance is 8r and volt is 48v then how many e charge in five seconds ?
Dear Student,
Assuming, resistance R = 8 ohms and voltage across the resistor, V = 8 V.
Using Ohm's law, current through the resistor will be given as
I=V/R=8/8=1A
1 Ampere current is equal to the flow of 1 Coulomb charge per sec.
So, total charge which flows in 5 s = 1×5=5 C.
Charge of an electron, e=1.6×10−19 C
So, 5 C charge contains 5 / 1.6×10−19= 3.125×1019 electrons
