if rohits range is 67 runs and mohits is 100 runs then how can rohiit b beter than mohith

 

because rohit didnot rank more than mohit  and mohit rank more than rohit so the mohit is better than  rohit

it's actually pretty easy to explain this. which rank would you say the highest. the 67th rank or the 100th rank. It would of course be the 67th rank. so range somewhat is  like ranks, not like marks where 100 is greater than 67.
