If the 7th term of a Harmonic Progression is 8 and the 8thterm is 7. Then find the 28th term

7th term of HP = 1 / 7th term of AP = 8
therefore 7th term of AP is = 1/8
similarly 8th term of AP is = 1/7
now d = 1/7 - 1/8
d = 1/56
now,
8the term of AP = 1/7 = a + 7d
1/7 = a + 1/8
therefore a = 1/56

now, 28th termp of AP is = a + 27d
= 1/56 + 27/56
= 28/56
=1/2

now as we know that
Nth term of HP = 1 / Nth term of AP
so,
28th term of HP = 1 / 28th term of AP
therefore,
28th term of HP = 2     ans..
