We have,   a2 + b2 + 2ab+bc+ca=a2+b2+2ab + 2bc + 2ca=a+b2 + 2cb + a=a+ba+b + 2ca+b=a+ba+b+2c    so,  a2 + b2 + 2ab+bc+ca = a+b + 0a+b+2c   
1Now, we are given that, a2 + b2 + 2ab+bc+ca = a+b + ma+b+nc    
2comparing the RHS of 1 and 2, we getm = 0   and  n = 2Now, m + n = 0 + 2 = 2
