If we get data from someone else who collected it from its source
of origin but did not use it for his own study it will be deemed as
primary data?
Will this source of data be primary or secondary?Also can primary
data have secondary source of origin and vice versa

Dear Student

Any data collected directly from the field of study by survey ,
experimentation , questioning etc is termed as primary data While
any data from secondary source or second hand data collected from
someone else even if for some other purpose is called secondary
data Any data for any purpose and in any form if collected from
someone else is always secondary in nature never primary
