if we introduce an antibiotic resistant gene into the genome of pathogen then how can it be killed using antibiotics?

Dear student,
If we introduce an antibiotic resistant gene into the the genome of a pathogen it would be resistant to the antibiotic which is coded by the gene we introduced, but it would be sensitive to other antibiotics.
eg:-If we introduce Tetracycline Resistant gene, the pathogen will be resistant to Tetracycline but it may be sensitive to Ampicillin.
So the pathogen can be killed by Ampicillin.
