Imagine that you are Lemuel Gulliver. You have decided to stay in one of the
lands that you have visited. Write a letter home to your family explaining your
decision. You should describe the island and the people who live there. You
should also tell why you have decided to stay and what you plan to do while you
are there. This may be the last letter you write home, so say your goodbyes
and tell your family anything you want them to know. Write in about 150-200
words... (pls i need the answer)

Dear Papa and all at home,
  • I am writing this letter from an island far away. Its called Lilliput. I ended up here after a long journey, after I was separated from my other companions on the boat.
  • This island seems unique to me. The people here are not even 'six inches' tall.
  • My first impression of the people of the island was funny and I will explain it to you later.
  • The people of this land are very hospitable and I have felt at home in this place.
  • The people are also good mathematicians and their works on the lodgings prove this true.
  • The people are even repentant about their hostile behaviour at the start and I was given a chance to punish them.
  • They have prepared all the comforts for me. I am touched by their hospitality as they are welcoming a stranger into their midst.
  • My plans have worked out and a war was avoided.
  • As a token of my gratitude towards the people, I have decided to dwell among them and be a part of their group.
  • I intend to stay back and guard these tiny people, who need my protection and shelter.
  • I know all of you will be sad, but this is the least I can do for them.
  • Please do not worry about me.
  • I do not know if I will ever see you all again. But I love you all so much. Goodbye to all of you.
Yours lovingly,
Gulliver.
