Implementation on newton's laws of motion

Dear Student

Here's when to apply the Newton's laws of motion:
When object moves along a straight line with uniform acceleration, it is possible to relate velocity, acceleration during motion and the distance covered by it in a certain time interval by three set of equations.

The three equations have 5 variables.

u, v, a, t, s

Which equation to use can be decided by determining what variables out of these are given, and what need to be found out.

For example,

if u, v and t are given and we have to find out a

We have v, u, a and t in the first equation, so we will use the first equation then to find out a.

Newton's First Law of Motion also known as Law of Inertia states that every object persists to stay in uniform motion in a straight line or in the state of rest unless an external force acts upon it. Newton's Second Law of Motion states that force is equal to the change in momentum per change in time.
