Let the number of questions correctly answered by Aakash = x

Therefore, number of questions incorrectly answered by Aakash = 120 - x.

According to the given condition,

1× x - $\frac{1}{2}$ (120-x) = 90

⇒ x - 60 + $\frac{1}{2}$ x = 90

⇒ $\frac{3}{2}$ x = 150

⇒ x= 100

Hence, aakash has correctly answered 100 questions.
