In a cyclic quadrilateral PQRS if angle P-angleR =50degree then find the measure of angle p and angle r.

I am showing you step by step so you can understand....

  1. P - R = 50
  2. P + R = 180 (SUM OF OPPOSITE SIDES IS 180 OF CYCLIC QUADRILTERAL)....... (1)
  3. P = 50 + R ................ (2)
  4. P = 180 - R ...............(3)
  5. 50 + R = 180 - R {EQUATING (2) & (3)}
  6. R + R = 180 - 50
  7. 2R = 130
  8. R = 65........ (4)
  9. PUTTING THE VALUE IN (1)
  10. P + 65 = 180
  11. P = 180 - 65
  12. P = 115

=> Angle P = 115degree

=> Angle R = 65degree.
