In an engineering college, 80 students get chance for Computer Science, 75 for Information Technology, 72 for Electronics. If 60 students get chance in 1st and 2nd , 50 in 2nd and 3rd , 40 in 1st and 3rd and 30 get chance in all three branches, how many seats are there in the engineering college ?[ The college has only three disciplines.]

You need to start from the infromation which is common.
here we have 30 student's selected for all discipline, so it will be added in the part of the circle which is common for all the 3 circle.
Then we have 40 students selected for both Information technology and Electronics. so need to entered in the part of the circle common under this 2 circle. (40-30=10) needs to be entered there.
similarly we can fill the information 50 students for Information technology and Electroncs and 40 students for computer science and Information technology.
Then we have total number of 72 students who are selected for Information technology. so in total we need to have 72 in our information techcnology circle. we already have(20+30+20 =70) so remaining is 5 and do similarly for all the three cases.
