Dear Student,

Please find below the solution to the asked query:

We know : The type of people who are in lesser numbers belong to "Minority".

a ) 20 teachers out of 30 in a school are male. Here number of female teachers = 30 - 20 = 10

Thus, female teachers are in minority.

b ) Only 5% population of a city consists of the Buddhists. Here percentage of population not Buddhists = 100 % - 5 %  = 95 %

Thus, the Buddhists are in minority.

c ) 80% employees are vegetarian in the factory. So, Percentage of employees are non vegetarian = 100% - 80 % = 20 %

Thus, the Non-Vegetarians are in minority.

d ) In class of 50 students, 40 belong to more well - of (i.e. rich) families. So, the students belonging to poor or middle class = 50 - 40 = 10

Thus, the students belonging to poor or middle class families are in minority.

We have to respect the views of the minority in each of these situations  as they are also part of community and their view matter .
