indebtness is a major factor of poverty?

Indebtedness is one of the main factors of poverty, but it is not the sole factor. In rural areas, farmers depend on borrowing from money lenders, who in turn charge high interest rates from them. The indebted farmers cannot make themselves free from debt trap and further gets trapped in a vicious circle of poverty.
The other main factors for poverty are:
* High rate of population growth.
* High degree of unemployment and underemployment.
* Low rate of economic development.
* Unequal distribution of income and land.
* Low level of education.
* Political and social factors. etc.
