In order to reduce population growth, we should focus on
1. Improving women's access to education and employment. It is known that women who are educated and employed will give birth to lower number of children.
2. Improve health facilities to reduce infant mortality rate. It is known that reducing infant mortality rate also reduces the birth rate as parents are assured that their children will survive even if the number of children are less.
3. Encourage industrial development. Generally, agricultural economies have high birth rates as agriculture is highly labour intensive.
