india is rich country inhabited by poor. explain this statement

It is true that India is rich country but is inhabited by poor. India ranked among the 10 wealthiest countries all over the world with total individual wealth of $5,200 billion.
But population of India is very large and resources in India are noe utilised effectively and effeciently.Due to this large population, average Indian person is poor as per capita basis. A major part of wealth in India is accumulated by a small group of people.
