Instead of drawing circls, can we draw just 2 arcs intersecting each other to a given line?

 

 Dear Mytravan,

 If there is a given point from which we have to bisect then we need to draw circles,else we can put on the two end of a line and bisect .

Yes, But remember that the arcs should of equal radii (more than half of the line segment) and they should intersect on both sides of the circle.
