Explain classification of work force.

There are two broad categories of workforce:
1.Self-employed workers: This category includes individuals engaged in their own business or profession. For example, the owner of a factory.
2. Hired workers: This category includesindividuals who work for somebody else. They provide their services to others in return for income in the form of salaries and wages. For example, a person working in a factory.

Hired workers are further subdivided into Casual workers and Regular workers.
i. Casual workers: This subdivision includes individuals who are hired on a daily basis by their employers and work for daily wages.
ii. Regular workers: This subdivision includes individuals who are permanently hired by their employees.
