​It is not always that disease caused by microbes is connected to their point of entry. But in some cases it is true. For example, the bacteria which causes tuberculosis enters through nose from air and affects the respiratory system (Especially lungs). Typhoid causing bacteria enters through mouth (point of entry) and affects the gut lining.
In diseases such as malaria, AIDS etc. this does not hold true.
