Is it correct to say that the dead caesar exercises more influence on the common romans than the living caesor

To a great extent it is true because the people were convinced about his goodness and his love for the country people and they exercise their revenge on the conspirators of Caesar's death. They were first blinded by Brutus but the truth does prevail and the dead Caesar seems to command influence on the people through his death.
