Polygenic inheritance means the inheritance of some complex characters that are governed by two or more genes.
Human skin colour is an example of polygenic character which is governed by multiple genes.

Genes that code for pair of contrasting characters are known as alleles.
When more than two alleles control a character, as in human blood groups then they are known as multiple alleles.

Both are two different phenomenon and multiple allelism is not required for polygenic inheritance. 
As for example skin colour of an organism is an example of polygenic inheritance and multiple allelism is not associated with it. Likewise human blood groups is an example of multiple alleles but no polygenic inheritance is associated with it.
So , polygenic inheritance is not a type of non allelic gene interaction.
