Is Speciation same as Natural Selection. If not why i am seeing certified answers by experts which have same definition for both. plz explain. I cannot post the link in the question as meritnation is not allowing me to do this. U can answer to this question and i can revert to u back. Thank you.

Speciation and natural selection are different terms, however they are related to each other.
The natural selection is one of the factors that causes speciation.

Speciation is the process of formation of new species from pre-existing ones by the help of variation, natural selection, mutations etc.

Natutal selection is the phenomenon in which nature selects the individuals with favourable traits and eliminates those with unfavourable traits.
