Is there any connection between eyes and ears?

There is no direct connection between eyes and ears. But both eyes and ears are indirectly connected through nasal cavity. The eyes are connected to nasal cavity through nasolacrimal duct and ears are connected to nose through eustachian tube. Also, they are both connected through the nervous system that controls them. Some diseases which are associated with ears also affect eyes.
