Is there is any effect of gravity on electric current?

Current flows when voltage is applied across conductor. Force on electron is due to electric field because of which they move. However electrons also have negligible mass and therefore negligible gravitational force also acts on electron. Thus there is effect of gravity on electric current but it is negligible and so can be safely ignored.
