Dear student, 5 ways are - 1) Shifting cultivation, hunting , cutting trees for wood and collection of forest produce was banned because of all this many tribals lost their livelihood. 2) Most people in forest villages were displaced without notice or compensation because of new forest laws. 3) In order to get more and more profits, britishers exploited tribal groups and snatched away their land. For example - Silk growers were given only Rs.3 to 4 for per thousand cocoons. 4) The tribal cheif after the advent of colonial rule lost all their powers. 5) The tribals had to pay tribute to british and needs to discipline the tribal group on their behalf.
