Luck truly favours those who are bold and daring. Dr Andrew did not give up hope even when the baby was stillborn. He used his presence of mind and first looked after the mother whose pulse was very weak. After attending to her, he used his practical knowledge and dipped the baby in hot and cold baths to shock it into crying. He was able to resuscitate the baby and keep the mother safe only because he showed true fortitude and faith.
