when monocytes enlarge and migrate into tissues from bloodstream , they differentiate and form MACROPHAGES

there are different type of macrophages present in different parts of the body :-

Pulmonary alveolar macrophages - LUNG

Histiocytes - CONNECTIVE TISSUE

Kupffer cells- LIVER

Glomerular mesangial cells - KIDNEY

Microglial cells - BRAIN

Osteoclasts - BONE
