Mention the difference between microfauna and macrofauna.......

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

Microfauna refers to a group of small organisms. They are the smallest of the faunal size divisions (0.1-2mm) and include organisms like microbes of tiny species from animal groups like ticks, insects, etc.

Macrofauna, on the other hand, include organisms that are larger than 2mm in size. They lie between microfauna and megafauna. Animals included in this category are rabbits, badgers as well as ants, mites, snails, bugs, etc.

Hope this information clears your doubt.
Regards.
