Dear Student,a.) The area of a velocity-time graph gives displacement.       area under the graph is given by:- velocity×time which is equal to displacement.b.) Slope of the distance-time graph =distancetime which is equal to speed.Regards

Dear friend,
The area under VELOCITY -TIME GRAPH GIVES YOU DISPLACEMENT (DISTANCE WITH DIRECTION)
The slope of the distance-time graph gives you speed.
AS-------v = s(with direction)/t
and vt = s(with direction)
V = s/t

Where
s = DISTANCE
t = TIME
s ( with direction ) =DISPLACEMENT
V = speed
v = VELOCITY

hope my answer will help you
