Name the gland that secreats thyroxin and insulin and write there function

1)Thyroxin hormone is secreted by a gland know as Thyroid gland. Thyroxine helps in maintaining the body metabolism and it ensures bone health and muscle control. To control the activity of the Thyroid Gland we should ensure that our diet contains iodine in the required quantity. Deficiency or more of thyroxin may lead to problems like goitre ,hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism etc. 

2)Insulin hormone is secreted by a gland know as Pancreas. Insulin maintains the blood sugar level of person. Deficiency of insulin causes diabetes.
