The stem is the part of plant which grow vertically-up above the ground. It holds the plant upright straight. It helps to transport water and nutrition from root to leaves and leaves to other part of plants respectively. It carries leaves and fruits.it also stores food synthesised by leaves.
Leaves is a broad , thin , flat and green part of the plant which is attached to the stems. It synthesis food for the plats by the process of photosynthesis. It helps in the regulation temperature of the plant by the process of transpiration. It also helps in respiration process.
