Not only in Pearson’s family, but in most families mothers are taken for granted. They do all work and get no respect. Write a paragraph on the topic: ’The Need to Respect Mothers’ with reference to Mother’s Day

Dear Student,

No words can describe our gratitude to our mothers. A mother is the most precious gift to us from the Almighty. She gets a second lease of life when the child is born, she smiles when the child smiles, she cries when the child weeps and she sleeps when she finds her child asleep. Her great source of happiness is the happiness of her child. She is contented if her child is so. For her, the whole world is her children and family. She does everything to please each and every member of the family. In lieu of that, she doesn't want anything. We also take her and all efforts for us for granted. In a way, she does a thankless job for us.  She is the only creature in the world before whom even the God bows. She is the epitome of love, affection, sacrifice and generosity. Her presence in the world provides solace to the suffering humanity. Her smiling face removes all sorrows and frets of the world.

Mothers' Day is celebrated all over the world to acknowledge the contribution of each mother in her children's life, to bow down to their selfless love and to respect them for their genuine emotions. It is celebrated by giving cards, flowers and gifts to mothers. Children cook for them, take them for picnics and spend time with them. But, the better thing to do would be to respect mothers at all times, to acknowledge their invaluable contribution in the lives of their family members and to give them their due place of importance. We must learn to share her chores with her, give her relaxation time on a daily basis and encourage her to pursue her hobbies and interests.

Regards
