On eating spicy food why we feel burning sensation, I heard there are no taste receptors to percieve the tatste of chilli or spicfy food.

I had once asked a similar query, so I would to add not to give any link for this one, Because I am unable to understand that answer, and on reading the same again will lead to chaos in my mind.

Thanks a tonne..!!

Dear student,
A compound named capsaicin is present in spicy food which erodes and damages the stomach lining causing burning sensation in stomach and the body responds by sweating to maintain homeostasis. If taken in excess in regular diet it can completely damage the stomach lining causing gastritis. ulcer, and colitis.
