Ozone, although poisonous to human beings is very important for inhabitants of the earth because this gas block the harmful Ultra-voilet radiation from the sun. It is found in the upper layer of the stratosphere. The ozone level depletion means that the layer is getting thinner and thinner with use of certain substances like CFCs (Chloroflorocarbons). A big ozone hole has been noticed above Antarctica.

Methods by which we can control ozone level depletion-

1. Avoid the use of hair sprays and doedrants.

2. Get your car ACs and ACs at home checked regularly, they may lead to CFC emission. Use eco-friendly methods of travelling.

3. Encourage aforestation as it would help in increasing the content of oxygen in the air.
