Dear student

a) There are basically four types of blood groups depending upon the presence/absence of two types of antigens (antigen a and antigen b) on the Red blood cells of blood and respective antibodies in the blood plasma. Antigens are protein or polysaccharide molecules while as antibodies are protein molecules produced against these antigens in blood. 
b) O  negative blood group is known as universal donor.
c) Platelets are produced from bone marrow cells called megakaryocytes.
d) Spleen is known as graveyard of RBCs.
