Dear student,
1. Sovereign: ‘Sovereign’ this term means that our country, India has its authorities who act independently which cannot be dominated by any external or state power. 
2. Secular: According to the preamble of the Indian constitution, secularism depicts equal freedom and respect for all the religious backgrounds that a citizen possesses. Every citizen is guaranteed to carry out different religious practices in a secular country like India.
3. Republic: This word depicts the power vested on the citizens as the head of the state cannot be chosen hereditary but by the people of India. India being a republic country, aims to secure justice, equality, liberty, fraternity, etc.
4. Liberty: Liberty is the state to be free from any kind of imposed restrictions by other persons. According to the preamble of the Indian constitution, liberty is that freedom where one can lead his life as per his choice and have its political views and behaviour.
5. Equality: Equality means the absence of discrimination based on anyone’s class, caste, creed, religious background. Equality ensures equal opportunity and status for the people of India in terms of laws, speaking, thinking, interpreting opportunities.
